The festivities of December can make it a tricky month to stay committed to your goals. Amidst wrapping gifts, planning feasts, entertaining relatives, attending parties, and tackling endless to-dos, finding time for yourself - and your well-being - often falls by the wayside.

Even with the best intentions, it's all too easy for healthy habits slip away. Sound familiar?

You come home after another marathon day, and just need a moment to relax. You sink into the depths of your comfy sofa, and grab your phone to scroll on social media. Just five minutes. Ten minutes, tops.

But it's dark outside and cold, and the idea of exercise, and healthy habits becomes less appealing. "Maybe just another few minutes..." you think.

However, as the days fill up and the season speeds by, those small daily habits that help you feel grounded-moving your body, getting to bed without doom scrolling, eating balanced meals with protein. Before you know it, you've convinced yourself it's too late to start now. There's always tomorrow, right? Maybe you could start again on Monday? Or, with the New Year just around the corner, maybe you'll just wait until then...

But let’s face it – when January rolls around, many of us regret letting our healthy habits & fitness slide during the holidays. The extra pounds can be a bummer, sure, but it's the sluggishness, the mood dips, and that sense of guilt that really steal the joy from the season.

So at Transformative Health Coaching, I wanted to find a supportive, low-stress way to help you stay consistent through the holidays.

I am a CrossFit L2 Trainer and I've been doing CrossFit and coaching CrossFit for 15+ years at Cream City CrossFit in Milwaukee (Bay View), WI.
